Marketing manager tile_FINAL Online Marketing Manager Role  Mildred&Co is New Zealand’s one-stop-shop online wedding gift registry and gift store, located in central Auckland. As we approach the busy wedding season, we are looking for an energetic Online Marketing Manager to join our small dynamic team at Mildred&Co. You will need to be creative, have incredible attention to detail, a knack for writing, a good knowledge of online retail and content management systems, experience with Adobe Photoshop and a love of social media. The ideal candidate will also be passionate about décor and design (and weddings!). Reporting to the Director, you will sit at the centre of one of the most exciting parts of the business – the online store. Your role will be responsible for the ownership and management of all the content on the website and making sure it is optimized to perform the best it possibly can to achieve great online sales and optimum customer experience. You will also be in charge of all marketing aspects, internal and external, including upkeep and content of Mildred&Co’s social media, blog and e-newsletters. You will be the creative force behind all Mildred&Co marketing collateral, designing graphics where needed for both print and online. Duties:
  • Social media content generation and management
  • Graphic design for marketing content and the Mildred&Co website
  • Responsible for upkeep and content of the Mildred&Co blog
  • Responsible for EDM planning, design and execution
  • Responsible for maintaining and implementing the marketing plan
  • Managing/uploading online content on a daily basis
  • Writing press releases and any marketing content
  • Reporting on website performance using Google Analytics
Skills:
  • Excellent written English and grammar skills are essential
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills
  • Marketing experience a must
  • Experience with online retail content management systems
  • An understanding of Google Analytics and its functionality
  • Strong MS skills
  • Ability to use Photoshop essential - knowledge of InDesign a plus
  • Friendly and happy-go-lucky nature
  • Strong planning and time-management skills to meet deadlines
  • Organised and efficient
